I agree with Austin. It flies very significantly like the S107 identical dimensions and visuals. The lighting is spectacular but what is cooler nevertheless is that you can turn it off from the controller to save battery life. The opposite button gives you added overall performance. Like the sideways drift that Austin mentioned, it is not a lot but it is noticeable and adds to the enjoyable of flying this neat tiny package. As you would anticipate, there is a rotary trim knob to correct any left / proper rotation although hovering, flying forwards or backwards. My ONLY complaint is that you should take your hand from the controls to adjust the knob. You will not need to have to do this sometimes as the helicopter is pretty stable and doesn't lose its trim quickly as soon as set. My favorite trim manage was on the Syma S009G which had left and ideal buttons to tap although flying. A completely eye and hands zero cost way to manage trim. 1 significantly more good feature of the Drift King control is the flashing green light even though the control is binding. The canopy is extremely desirable with an eye catching paint scheme. Nothing about the Drift King appears affordable or flimsy. Like the S107, it is a very well believed out toy - especially appealing to the eye.
The rotor shaft separates the coaxial blades far enough apart that they will not interact. In other words, no danger of the best blades cracking on the lower ones. The controller calls for 6 AA batteries, which are not included so be prepared and invest in a package of new alkalines ahead of you get a Drift King. I recommend that you do NOT use the controller to charge the Drift King. Use the black USB charging cord instead. It glows red even though charging which has an appealing glow inside the black USB plug. The LED shuts off when charging is full and my brief experience with charging is about 45 minutes. These instances seem to differ and your mileage could be much better. You will have a slightly different action if you select to bleed the controller batteries with its separate / attached charging cord. The controller batteries will final for months if you do not charge the Drift King with them and I guarantee they will last no far more than a couple of days if you do. I agree with each reviews. The durability is good, the heli is beautifully detailed and well constructed, and the left and suitable rolls are controlled by a servo driven pawl connected to the psuedo swash plate. The rolls are a small slow for those applied to bigger four channel helis, but is still a blast to fly through the home. Those utilized to standard four channels have a bit of a learning curve due to the roll manage being on the left stick instead of the suitable, but this is an uncomplicated adjustment for a heli of this size.
