Customer Critiques
Wow. These toy helicopters have definitely come a lengthy way in the past couple of years. I have purchased a number of models since the craze started but this new generation with built-in gyros are the most stable however.
This certain copter is really light weight and nimble in the air. You won't be flying this outdoors considering that a slight wind will whisk it away but everybody knows these points are intended for indoor fun anyway. I was exceptionally impressed with the precise control you have over this copter. Prior models that I have owned were basically only superior for going up and down and perhaps you could nudge them in a forward direction if you had been lucky. This copter is a breeze to maneuver and the trim manage on the remote will allow for producing minute adjustments fairly easily. There is also a turbo button that supposedly boosts the speed of the copter but I have not played with that but. I get the default speed to be great adequate for the pretty low ceilings in my spot (wouldn't want to increase and send the copter crashing).
A further fantastic feature is the "no snap back" elevation controls. This lets you set a height with the left joystick and then take your finger off the manage completely. Your copter will remain at the set height and you can just worry about the direction controls from there. Other models I have played with have a spring in the left stick which tends to make keeping an exact elevation a chore.
One factor to note is that when you 1st turn it on the copter may not respond ideal away. There seems to be a bit of "boot up" time amongst the remote and copter. Very likely by design so that persons do not get a face complete of whirling blades when they switch on their copter. Following a handful of seconds even though almost everything will kick in and you will be prepared to fly.
The seller notes that colors can vary from the one pictured. Indeed the box shows that there are 5 completely different color variations. The seller just sends them out at random. All the styles appear pretty cool although so I guess it is not a enormous deal. Mine was white btw.
General I am fairly pleased with my new toy. The learning curve for flying is so low that you will be producing precision runs inside minutes of opening the box. The only somewhat unfavorable encounter I had was the screw from the battery compartment on the remote was missing when I took it out of the box. I believed that the manufacturer had neglected to involve it but I later located it on the floor. Guess it dropped out without having me seeing it. No harm no foul but it would have been much better if the screw had been screwed into the remote from the start out.
Wonderful little toy. Excellent prospective stocking stuffer.
It was suprising how stable this small helicopter is. It was uncomplicated sufficient for my tiny niece to handle. Takes about 20 minutes to charge for which you get about 6 to ten minutes of flight time, which is pretty beneficial for an rc helicopter at this price tag point. The manual is a little vague but most buttons are fairly straightforward.
Although it looks fairly frail, it truly held up fairly well in spite of crashing into all kinds of objects. Certainly would advise to anyone searching for a fine rc helicopter.
