Customer Critiques

I ordered this helicopter along with three other helicopters. 3 from Syma and one particular off brand helicopter. I ordered a number of helicopters mainly because the only ones I have flown have been two channel and if one particular broke I would have backup. I ordered the Syma S107 and S105 at the similar time, and the S107 arrived very first and the S105 arrived the subsequent day. On my frist flight of the S107 I was suprised how stable and smooth the flight was. The box says 14 and up but I feel anyone could control this helicopter. It goes up, down, left, proper, forward, and backwards, all at a balanced speed thats decent for indoor flight. It is not too slow to be boring or as well fast that you cannot controll it. The trim button on the controller is quite a lot not essential due to the fact it does not spin out of manage. I still havnt adjusted the trim just after about 20 flights. Also, both Syma helicopters are Incredibly durable given that they are produced of metal and tough plastic. The blades are also durable. There are some differences in the S107 and S105. The S105 is slightly wider and slightly longer. It also has two LED lights on every side and one in the front, a total of 6, which can be cool or annoying, it just depends on preference. The s107 has a single light on the front. The S105 appears to spin out additional than the S107 and is way more tricky to trim. This is an obvious flaw that was addressed with the newer S107, simply because it does not spin out at all. They each can be charged with the controller or via a USB port on your laptop or computer which is great if you don't want to waste your batteries on your controller. They both use 6 AA batteries in the controller. Both helicopters are exceptionally durable and have been crashed various times. My only complaint with them is the flight time is only around five minutes, while I do not have anything to compare it to due to the fact the other 2 helicopters I ordered are still not right here but immediately after about a week and a half. Also, the only selection for shipping is standard shipping. Overall I would suggest the S107 more than the S105 simply because of the trim issue with the S105, but both are remarkable helicopters and they are a fairly superior value.

The Syma S107 is so very easy to manage that on my initial flight I had it tour my complete apartment, zooming in and out of closets and never ever touching an obstacle until I deliberately landed it. If you've never flown a excellent RC heli ahead of, you may need to practice a bit. It may possibly be your second or third flight ahead of you get that really good.
The S107 is certainly that uncomplicated to control.
I am confident that lots of of you have played with Air Hogs and other micro helis and you lengthy for a tiny heli that just plain flies where you want it to fly and stays up in the air. I'm right here to tell you that such perfection is within your grasp.
Prior to I got my S107, I currently owned two Syma S105s and I by no means get tired of flying them. They appear practically identical to the S107 and the remote is identical, but they take a tiny bit of ability to fly with precision and I've made tiny tweaks here and there to get greater control.
The S107 takes pretty much no skill to fly. They gyro makes it laughably effortless to manage. Just use it indoors, get it about four feet off the ground so that ground-effects don't mess with it, fly it a decent distance from air conditioning vents and the issue moves like it's hanging from a string on a stick.
That perfection is, maybe, its 1 significant flaw.
The issue is, I think the S105 is a bit extra fun to play with. The S105 requirements careful trimming at the starting of each and every flight. The S105 tends to make broad turns, but pulls out sharply, risking blade-strikes, unexpected alterations in direction and the occasional crash. It really is incredibly simple to fly the S105, but even so just about every time that I fly one I develop far more skillful with it.
The S107 just plain operates. It goes exactly where I point it.
I made one particular tiny change to my S107, taping a paperclip to the front to help it move forward a great deal more effortlessly. That's the sum of all modifications that I made to mine. I cannot acquire anything else to tweak. That's great. It is remarkable. It's a fun thing to play with and the feeling of exhilaration endures even soon after a large number of flights.
I heartily advise this heli.
...But if you want a similar heli that's similarly astounding however introduces a smidgen of challenge to each flight, think about the S105 as nicely.
